Rombach & Haas has manufactured three cuckoo clocks which offer the cuckoo and quail combinations. At fifteen minutes after the hour, the quail calls once. On the half hour, the quail calls twice and the cuckoo calls once. On the three-quarter hour, the quail calls three times. At the top of the hour, the quail calls four times while the cuckoo calls out the hour of day. Model #1430 is 23"H x 14-1/2"W (clock only -- the weights and chains go down to the floor when hung and fully unwound.) This model is available as it is made in the Black Forest -- with dead animals. But for those who want to see live animals, we can order it American-Style. This has a one-day movement. Shipping, handling and insurance is $52.95 due to the size. It is too large for UPS or FedEx so please do not request that mode of delivery. Express Mail shipping is available at a higher price.
