Romba un Haas created this beautiful black forest cuckoo clock with all the details of the Black Forest captured in it's design. You will be in awe with the eagle, forest, pines, deer and other objects depicted in this hand-carved creation. This model is the largest carved cuckoo clock we have in stock but a larger one can be made to order. Typically, it takes the carver approximately four months to finish this masterpiece. Details abound with the tiny acorns, squirrels in the trees and an intricately carved pendulum which makes this piece a piece of time-keeping art. The size is 30" x 57" x 16". The music box from Reuge in Switzerland also makes this piece an impressive mechanical-musical instrument. It plays three different tunes and its 36-note comb allows longer tunes with more melismatic melodies and a richer accompinament. A very similar clock (see inset photo) with a little less detail is available in a smaller size (22” x 35” x 12") with a smaller music box.
